Apparently, ProElite doesn’t have the only executives in the fight business that are running their company into the ground. In this thread on the UG, a former employee of The Fight Network talks fairly openly about how the new ownership has adversely affected the company’s health. Of course, you always have to be a little leery when a former employee starts airing out the dirty laundry, however, it appears his claims may be substantiated because Big John McCarthy has just written his farewell post on TFN blog.
Well this is my farewell from the Fight Network. While I will not miss what has happened or transpired at the company, I am really going to miss some very special people that I have come to know and respect in my short time with them.
To all of the higher ups that have taken over the Fight Network over the last year I only have this to say………….. Shame on you………………
Big John spends most of the post thanking a few of his former colleagues—Mike Garrow, Mauro Ranallo, John Pollack—and the fans, but he definitely alludes to the new executive management running the company into the ground.
It never ceases to amaze me how certain people who have no idea what they’re doing get into such high positions of power. As Big John said, it’s a shame.
By the way, JT McCarthy in the UG thread is not the same person as Big John.
