Holy smokes, you won’t find this MMA gym in your local city or town. In fact, you won’t find it anywhere in North America, not even in Las Vegas. This gym, which resembles a five-star health club straight out of Beverly Hills, is called Evolve Mixed Martial Arts, their second academy in Singapore located at the Far East Square and POMO Mall. They also have a gym located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Evolve’s managing director, Chatri Sityodtong, says Asia is primed for a “MMA revolution” and they plan to capitalize on it with this state-of-the-art facility. Additionally, Evolve’s stable of fighters will be participating in a series of MMA events called “Martial Combat” at the $4.69 billion Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore.
“We blew through our three-year financial goals in three months, so there’s strong interest in Singapore,” he added.
“We are at the beginning of the MMA revolution in Asia.”
That “revolution” will take a step forward next year with the launch of ‘Martial Combat’, a series of MMA events to be broadcast across Asia by ESPN Star Sports (ESS) and staged at Singapore’s S$6.59 billion ($4.69 billion) Resorts World Sentosa.
Evolve’s official website doesn’t list membership pricing, but by the looks of it, you’ll need to be making Brock Lesnar money to afford it.

Update: Somewhere along the line I got confused about where the gym is located in Singapore. It’s actually located at the Far East Square and POMO Mall, not at the Resorts World Sentosa which is the location for “Martial Combat.” I made corrections to the story above.
