Almost a 100 shows in, it looks like ESPN MMA Live is finally headed to real television.

MMAmania.com has learned that host Jon Anik, along with analysts Franklin McNeil and Kenny Florian, will soon bring their mixed martial arts news, highlights and analysis to the world’s biggest sports network on ESPN2.

No precise details are known at this time, but the half-hour show is expected to air on Thursday afternoons — new episodes are typically made available online on a weekly basis at this time.

Great news for not only the MMA Live crew, but for the fans and the sport of mixed martial arts. The added exposure and visibility can only bring good things. Slowly but surely, we’re getting there.

Update: MMA Torch is reporting MMA Live will debut on ESPN 2 on May 6. The show will air at 1AM ET/10PM PT on Thursdays throughout May, but isn’t set yet beyond that. Not the best timeslot for east coasters, but better than nothing. Got to start somewhere.
