The rumored Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard and Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin fights have been signed.

On this week’s edition of ESPN MMA Live, Kenny Florian broke the news himself about fighting Gray Maynard at UFC 118 in Boston.

“I did sign to fight Gray Maynard the other day, so its gonna happen finally in Boston. I am very, very excited in Gray Maynard and I am finally fighting in my home town.”

Florian didn’t mention if it would be a number one contender’s match.

Later in the show, Franklin McNeil reported that Lesnar-Carwin will indeed go down at UFC 116 in Las Vegas.

“Its pretty much done. The UFC has not confirmed this right now so its not official but several sources have told me that both Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin have signed to complete this fight. Dana White said he wanted this fight to happen in July, it looks like its going to happen.”

Back to UFC 118, Fighters Only says Randy Couture will also fight in Boston. His opponent isn’t set yet, but rumor has it he may get his wish to welcome James Toney to mixed martial arts.
