MoneyThe CSAC has released the fighter payouts for Strikeforce “Los Angeles.” Keep in mind, these figures represent the base contracted pay the fighter receives from the promotion. These figures do not include any undisclosed bonuses or sponsorship money, which in many cases exceeds a fighter’s base pay. These numbers also do not account for taxes, insurance, and license fees.

Headliners Babalu Sobral and Robbie Lawler earned the lion’s share of the total event purse, pocketing $100,000 and $85,000, respectively. And for those who remember why KJ Noons refused to give Nick Diaz a rematch in EliteXC (hint: money), Noons still only makes a fraction of what Diaz pulls in per fight ($100,000).
