Assuming plans don’t change, the UFC is running back-to-back numbered events in back-to-back months starting in October with UFC 120. While four shows in six weeks would normally cause a major strain on most fans’ pockets, the good news is you’ll only have to pay for two of them.
Spike TV has already announced that they’ll broadcast UFC 120 from London on same-day tape-delay, and now reports are coming in that suggest Spike will broadcast UFC 122 from Germany via same-day tape-delay as well.
The schedule as it unofficially stands looks like this:
- UFC 120, Oct. 16, London, Spike TV
- UFC 121, Oct. 23, Anaheim, PPV
- UFC 122, Nov. 13, Germany, Spike TV
- UFC 123, Nov. 20, TBA, PPV
Currently, the only listed card that doesn’t have any major fights associated with it is UFC 122. While it’s unknown who will make the trip, it appears at least one prominent fighter might be interested. According to a report on Croatian website Index.hr (via URDirt.com), Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic would like to fight on the card if he reaches a new deal with the UFC. Cro Cop fought on the UFC’s first German card, UFC 99, last year.
