If fighting Georges St. Pierre wasn’t enough of a challenge as it is, Josh Koscheck will have to fight him in hostile territory. Early reports suggested their welterweight title clash would go down in Las Vegas, but apparently plans have changed. Dana White informed MMA Fighting earlier today that UFC 124 will take place in Montreal instead.

Georges St-Pierre’s title defense against Josh Koscheck will take place on Dec. 11 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, UFC president Dana White confirmed with MMA Fighting Monday.

Even if Josh Koscheck doesn’t walk away from UFC 124 as the new welterweight champion, it’s probably safe to say he’ll hold the title for most booed fighter in the history of the UFC when he exits the Bell Centre. It’s only been like four months since UFC 113 when Koscheck basically told the Montreal crowd where to stick it after the Daley fight. He might need a security detail for the trip back.
