UFC 129 is official.

UFC 129 “St.Pierre vs. Shields” is scheduled to take place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Saturday, April 30 and will air live on pay-per-view at 10PM ET/7PM PT. The card will be headlined by a welterweight title fight between champion Georges St. Pierre and Jake Shields.

“The fans in Ontario have been asking for UFC events for a long time and on April 30, we have the chance to deliver,” UFC Director of Canadian Operations Tom Wright said. “We’ve secured the Rogers Centre and plan on putting together a tremendous event. With GSP vs. Shields and other great fights, fans are in for a real treat.”

Other bouts announced for the card include Jose Aldo vs. Mark Hominick, Phil Davis vs. Matt Hamill, Ben Henderson vs. Mark Bocek, Jason MacDonald vs. Ryan Jensen, Brian Foster vs. Sean Pierson, Ivan Menjivar vs. Charlie Valencia and John Makdessi vs. Kyle Watson.

Tickets prices will range from $300-$800 on the floor and from $50-$225 in the stands. They can be purchased at the Rogers Centre box office or through Ticketmaster and Stubhub. Dana White stressed to not buy tickets from ticket brokers (such as Stubhub) before the on-sale date.

“Please let all the fans know not to buy any tickets to UFC 129 until the official on-sale date,” White said. “The same thing goes for the UFC Fight Night event in Seattle. We haven’t started selling tickets to either on of these events, but there are already brokers trying to pre-sell seats. Please don’t buy these because there is simply no way to guarantee you’ll actually receive authentic tickets.”
