Remember the epic slugfest that went down between Leonard Garcia and The Korean Zombie at WEC 48 UFC Presents Aldo vs. Faber last year? Of course you do, it was the craziest fight we saw in all of 2010.

Well, guess what, it’s happening again. The UFC announced today that Nam Phan has sustained an injury and pulled out of his scheduled fight against Leonard Garcia at UFC Fight Night 24. His replacement: The Korean Zombie.

A broken foot has sidelined Nam Phan from his March 26 rematch with Leonard Garcia, so Chan Sung Jung, “The Korean Zombie”, has agreed to face the “Bad Boy” in a rematch of a 2010 fight Joe Rogan described as “The Fight of The Decade.”

“Nam Phan is injured so “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung has agreed to step up against Leonard Garcia and attempt to avenge a controversial decision in what was one of the greatest all-time slugfests,” said UFC President Dana White.

It’s probably a mistake to expect Garcia and Jung to pick up where they left off, but if the rematch is half as good as their first one, Seattle is going to be in for a heck of a fight.
