A pair of veteran heavyweights are expected to clash in Denver this September. MMA Weekly is reporting that Ben Rothwell will return from a long layoff to face PRIDE/K-1 vet Mark Hunt at UFC 135.

Rothwell is coming off a win over Gilbert Yvel at UFC 115 last June, but suffered a torn ACL that put him out of action until now. Meanwhile, Mark Hunt is coming off his knockout win over Chris Tuchscherer at UFC 127. That’s a tough one to call, but I’m always hesitant to pick someone coming off major knee surgery.

In other UFC 135 action, the UFC announced today that Kid Yamamoto and Damacio Page have agreed to meet in a bantamweight match-up on the card. Like Hunt did when he fought Tuchschrerer, Kid needs a win here to even out his UFC record at one apiece.
