Bad news. Several outlets are reporting that Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos has injured his shoulder and has been for forced to withdraw from his upcoming bout against Paul Daley at Strikeforce “Fedor vs. Henderson.” MMA Prime first reported the news earlier today.

Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos has been injured during his training camp. Sources close to cyborg’s camp told that he injured his shoulder and will not be able to fight. Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos was expected to fight Paul Daley on Strikeforce: Fedor vs Henderson.

MMA Fighting adds that Strikeforce is currently looking for a replacement to fight Daley on July 30, but there aren’t many options. Rising welterweight wrestler Tyron Woodley would make the most sense, but it’s doubtful that match-up would produce the kind of fireworks Daley vs. Cyborg would have.
