UFC 133 has taken another major hit.

According to reports from Tatame and MMA Junkie, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has suffered a shoulder injury and will not be able to compete against Rich Franklin in the UFC 133 co-main event.

It’s believed that the UFC is seeking a replacement for Lil Nog for Franklin to fight, but a new opponent hasn’t been found as of yet. Will they even bother calling Lyoto Machida this time around?

Update: No luck finding a suitable replacement for Lil Nog on two weeks’ notice. The UFC confirmed this afternoon that Rich Franklin has pulled from the card and the Vitor Belfort vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama fight has been promoted to the co-main event. A prelim fight between Dennis Hallman and Brian Ebersole has been pulled up to the fill the vacant slot on the main card.
