The shortest fighter in the UFC’s heavyweight division is going to meet its tallest on October 1. That’s right, Pat Barry, in all his tighty whitey glory, is taking on “The Skyscraper” Stefan Struve at UFC on Versus 6. The UFC announced the match-up earlier this evening.
“Verbal agreements are in for a titanic battle between Stefan ‘Skyscraper’ Struve and Pat ‘HD’ Barry October 1st on UFC Live On Versus,” said UFC president Dana White. At 6’11”, Struve is the tallest fighter among UFC heavyweights, while Barry, a full foot shorter, clocks in as the division’s shortest.
I see this going one of two ways. Either Pat Barry leg kicks Struve to death and chops him down like a giant redwood or Struve puts Barry in a headlock and gives him the ultimate knuckle sandwich. Either way, it’s going to be awesome!
