Alistair Overeem shares his thoughts on this weekend’s heavyweight title fight against Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos at UFC on FOX 1. Overeem also spoke to USA Today about the fight.

Saturday’s fight is going to be very exciting. You’ve got two of the top four heavyweights, I would say, Cain and JDS.

Cain having a strong overall game, excellent wrestling, good cardio, good conditioning. JDS having dangerous punching, good punching, good hands.

So it’s going to be very hard to predict because they’re both very strong athletes. They’re peaking at the moment. It’s going to be dependent on the form of the day and game plan.

Overeem claims he doesn’t care who wins, he’s willing the fight anyone, anywhere, anytime to prove he’s the number one heavyweight in MMA.
