It seems Dana White and Dan Henderson are not on the same page.

First, Dana said Hendo wanted to the wait for the Jones-Evans winner, but Hendo said no, that’s not true, he wants to fight. Well, then Dana came out the other day and specifically said Hendo doesn’t want to fight Lyoto Machida or anyone else besides Jon Jones or Anderson Silva. And guess what? Hendo says that’s not true either.

Was never offered machida. And even though he has lost 3 out of his last 4, I’m sure it would be entertaining. RT @Shawn91111: @danhendo Dana said this “He doesn’t want to fight Machida He doesn’t want to wait. He’s going to have to wait. Who does he want to fight.

I’m not sure where the disconnect is, but Dana and Hendo should probably hop on the phone and at least get their stories straight.

As for a potential Hendo-Machida match-up, it would be an interesting fight, but it would also be a big gamble for the UFC. Case in point, what if Jon Jones beats Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida were to beat Dan Henderson? Then what? Jones-Machida II right after Jones just dropped Machida’s lifeless body on the canvas? That wouldn’t make much sense. I’m sure Dana White knows that too. Perhaps that’s why he said Hendo doesn’t want to fight him.
