Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva isn’t so big right now.

During a pre-UFC 146 conference call on Thursday, Silva confirmed that he is sitting at just 270 pounds, well down from his usual pre-fight weight.

“Things are going extremely well,” Silva said. “I’m very light and fast.”

Silva will be looking to bounce back from a knockout loss to Daniel Cormier last year in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix. With the grand prix set to conclude this weekend, Silva also offered up his choice between the finalist, Cormier and Josh Barnett.

“I’m rooting for Cormier,” Silva said. “Barnett is a difficult fight, but I’m rooting for Cormier to win.”

Silva will face former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez in the co-main event of UFC 146 on May 26 from Las Vegas. It will be the first UFC fight for the former EliteXC heavyweight champion.
