The main event fighters – Josh Barnett and Daniel Cormier – along with Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez all made six figures for their performances this past weekend at Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier. MMA Weekly confirmed the numbers with the California State Athletic Commission.

Barnett was the top earner, despite falling to Cormier in the finals of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix. “The Warmaster” made $200,000. Cormier picked up $100,000, which included a $50,000 win bonus.

Melendez, who downed Josh Thomson via decision, made $175,000. For his efforts, Thomson made $90,000.
