UFC president Dana White confirmed that the fight promotion is looking at UFC 154 as a potential return date for UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. White made the announcement during the UFC on FX 3 post-fight press conference.

St-Pierre, who is rehabbing from knee surgery, would unify the belt with interim champ Carlos Condit in Montreal on November 17.

A possible No. 1 contender match in the division between Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann is also being planned for the same event, giving the UFC the opportunity to sub one of the two fighters in if St-Pierre’s knee isn’t ready to go.

GSP has been out of action since last year, forcing a match between Condit and Nick Diaz to crown an interim champion. Hendricks has bested the likes of Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck in his past two fights, while Kampmann is coming off a triumph over Jake Ellenberger.
