Wanderlei Silva is focusing on Rich Franklin in less than two weeks at UFC 147 in his native country of Brazil. However, that hasn’t kept “The Axe Murderer” from talking about his long-time enemy, Chael Sonnen.

While appearing on The Fight Show with Mauro Ranallo recently, Silva gave us his take on Sonnen, who will meet Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title in July at UFC 148.

He fights with his mouth. He’s not a top guy. He creates that style and looks for you guys to give attention to him. But, face-to-face, he’s like a kid; he’ll cry like a baby, man. You talked some bad things. I’m old school. You’re talking some (expletive) about me, don’t shake my hand. This guy lost respect from me. Not one fighter respects him.

Sonnen has went on several verbal tirades against Wanderlei, Anderson and many, many other Brazilians. It remains unknown if Sonnen will ever face Wanderlei, but here’s to hoping that match comes to fruition down the road.
