The injuries continue for UFC 149, as the card has now lost Siyar Bahadurzada to the list of such fighters as Jose Aldo, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and others.

Matt Riddle will now step in to face Chris Clements at the July 21 event from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The bout is likely to be part of the prelims for the event.

Bahadurzada (21-4-1) defeated Paulo Thiago in his UFC debut earlier this year via knockout in 42 seconds. He had his original debut also postponed due to a training injury.

Clements (11-4) has won five consecutive bouts, including a split decision victory over Keith Wisniewski at UFC 145. He was signed to take the place of Thiago Alves, who was injured and forced off the card.

Riddle (6-3) earned a decision over Henry Martinez that snapped a two-fight losing skid this past February. All nine of his professional MMA fights have come inside the Octagon.
