Mark Munoz knows what it takes to compete at a high level, as he did for several years while wrestling in college at Oklahoma State University.

The Cowboys have one of the top programs in all of the country, and Munoz gained several important skills while strapping on the singlet.

Now, as he prepares for one of his biggest matches in the UFC against Chris Weidman Wednesday night at UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman, the returning fighter is ready to exact his plan of attack.

“My pressure-game is unbelievable. I’m going to be doing a lot of that,” said Munoz, in a recent interview with FightHub TV. “The keys to victory for him is to keep the distance and work for chokes. I know how he can win this fight and I know how I can win this fight; I’m going to force it where I’m good at and less where he’s good at.”

Munoz has recovered from elbow surgery to clear out several bone fragments that were floating around. The injury, however, derailed a No. 1 contender match with Chael Sonnen earlier this year.
