This past Saturday’s UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II prelims on FX brought in an all-time best 1.8 million viewers, according to numbers obtained by MMA Junkie.

The number sets a new best for the UFC on FX, surpassing the 1.5 million who tuned in for the UFC 145 prelims earlier this year.

In the main prelim card fight, Melvin Guillard earned a victory over Fabricio Camoes. Other winners on the prelims included Khabib Nurmagomedov, Costa Philippou and Shane Roller.

The report also stated that the broadcast, which went on for two hours in the lead-up to the pay-per-view main card, was the No. 1 ranked cable show for men 18-34 years old and adults 18-34 years old – both key demos for the UFC and FX.
