Michael Bisping didn’t make any friends in the newly-created UFC flyweight division, as “The Count” sounded off on the 125-pounders recently.

“In my opinion, and I think in most people’s, this is the main event,” said Bisping, on his UFC 152 bout with Brian Stann. “This is the real main event.”

UFC 152 will feature the crowning of the UFC’s first-ever flyweight champion, as Joseph Benavidez takes on Demetrious Johnson. The Bisping-Stann bout is the co-main event for the evening.

“Two big, hard hitting guys,” said Bisping, during a recent appearance on FUEL TV. “No one cares about little flyweights; this is the real main event, this is the real big fight. Tune in cause someone’s getting knocked out.”

Bisping and Stann can each move one step closer to securing a meeting with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva with a strong showing by defeating the other on September 22 from Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
