Travis Browne didn’t have to wait long for someone to step up and sign on the dotted line to face him.

Antonio Silva was willing, and “Big Foot” is excited to be the first to defeat the undefeated “Hapa” when they collide on October 5 at UFC on FX 5.

“No easy fights in the UFC,” said Silva, in an interview with Tatame recently. “He’s a striker. His stand-up is pretty good and he’s also a purple belt in jiu-jitsu with good takedown defenses. He’s a tough guy; will be a good fight.”

Silva was defeated in his UFC debut by former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. He is 16-4 in his career, while Browne sports a 13-0-1 mark.
