Jim Miller has lost two of his last three fights, but that’s not the biggest of his concerns right now.

Miller’s manager, Mike Constantino, recently informed MMA Fighting that his client has suffered a foot injury. Constantino described Miller’s injury as a torn extensor muscle in his foot.

However, the injury – which happened in a loss to Nate Diaz earlier this year – still wants to fight again before the calendar turns to 2013.

I would like to get (Miller) back in before the end of the year. He’s just easing his way back into it all.

Miller was nearing a title shot in the UFC’s lightweight division before a loss to Benson Henderson. He rebounded to top Melvin Guillard before falling to Diaz.
