UFC president Dana White has been very critical of women’s MMA.

However, one person seems to be causing him to change his tune.

That person is Ronda Rousey, who currently wears the Strikeforce bantamweight title.

Rousey is set to defend her belt next Saturday against Sarah Kaufman at Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman. Showtime, which will air the event, aired the premier episode of All Access: Ronda Rousey Wednesday night.

White offered up a very interesting statement on the former Olympic medal winner.

In the next 10 years, if there’s a women in the Octagon, it’s probably going to be Ronda Rousey.

With the recent explosion of Rousey, and the rapid-growth of the all-women’s fight league Invicta FC, the sport seems to be hitting a boom.

The episode of All Access is scheduled to air numerous times on Showtime, while the second part airs next Wednesday night.
