UFC president Dana White knows that Dan Henderson is one of the most accomplished fighters in all of MMA.

From his title runs in Pride, to winning the Strikeforce middleweight crown, to defeating Fedor Emelianenko, Henderson has the kind of resume many can only dream about.

During the post-fight media scrum Saturday night at UFC 150, White was asked his opinion on people looking past Henderson in his UFC 151 fight with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

That’s crazy. In no way, shape or form am I discounting Henderson winning this fight. Henderson can win this fight. He has knockout power in both hands, great wrestling, a good chin and he’s not afraid to mix it up with anybody.

Henderson is a former Olympic wrestling alternate. He defeated Mauricio “Shogun” Rua to claim his title shot last year.
