Mike “Quick” Swick announced that he has signed a new four-fight contract with the UFC.

Swick (15-4) was finally cleared to get back inside the Octagon earlier this year, knocking out DaMarques Johnson. It was his first win since 2009.

Swick has been with the UFC since 2005. He won his first five fights before a decision loss to former contender Yushin Okami. Since that time, he has posted a 5-2 record, with the losses coming to Dan Hardy and Paulo Thiago.

Swick missed several fight opportunities due to a misdiagnosed stomach disease and a knee injury suffered while training inside the cage.
