UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva feels like there is one fight out there that interests him: UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

Some would argue that if GSP were to fall to Carlos Condit in November at UFC 154, the appeal of a Silva-GSP fight wouldn’t still be there.

Well, Silva doesn’t feel that way at all. “The Spider” told SporTV recently that he wants St-Pierre, win or lose vs. Condit.

Regardless of who wins, even if St-Pierre loses, a fight with me can happen. A fight like this is above anything else. St-Pierre is one of the greatest of the UFC. Right now, a fight with Condit is meaningless.

It appears that Silva will remain inactive for the remainder of 2012. If St-Pierre does take care of Condit, you can count on the talk surrounding Silva-GSP to ignite like a firework on the Fourth of July.
