Former UFC middleweight contender Patrick Cote will face Alessio Sakara this November in his native country of Canada.

UFC officials announced that Cote-Sakara will take place at UFC 154 on November 17 from the Bell Centre in Montreal. The bout is expected to take place on the prelim portion of the card.

Cote (17-8) returned to the UFC after getting back on track in regional fights, but was defeated by Cung Le. Cote once fought UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, but suffered a knee injury during the bout and the fight was called.

Sakara (15-9) has split his 12 UFC fights, going 6-6. He is on a two-fight losing skid.
