On a day when UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson both were forced out of marquee fights, news that Matt Hamill’s scheduled opponent for later this month was injured kind of fell by the wayside.

Hamill, who announced the end of his retirement to return to the UFC and face Roger Hollett, will in fact meet Hollet at UFC 152.

A few weeks ago, the UFC announced that Hollett would be replaced by Vladimir Matyushenko in the contest from Toronto. Now, after “The Janitor” suffered a torn Achilles, Hollett has been re-inserted for his Octagon debut.

Hamill (10-4) went 9-4 with the UFC before retiring following a pair of losses. Hollett (13-3) has competed for Bellator previously in his career.
