Rashad Evans has bounced around the idea of facing UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

But, don’t think for a second that “Suga” isn’t counting down the days until he gets to see UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones inside the Octagon again.

Jones successfully defended his title against Evans earlier this year, as the former training partners went nose-to-nose for 25 minutes.

“I’m positive we will fight again at 205,” said Evans, in a recent interview with MMAWeekly.com, “maybe in a year or so, but we’ll fight again.”

Evans hasn’t competed since the loss to Jones, which dropped his record to 17-2-1. His only other career defeat came at the hands of Lyoto Machida, and cost him his UFC light heavyweight title at the time.
