UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was one of a handful of fighters given indefinite medical suspensions following UFC 152 this past weekend.
The Ontario Athletic Commission released the news to MMA.tv on Monday.
Jones will need to supply an X-ray of his right arm to have his suspension lifted. Jones, who defeated Vitor Belfort, was caught in a deep armbar early in the fight.
Charlie Brenneman, Simeon Thoresen, Charles Oliveira and Roger Hollett were all handed indefinite medical suspensions, as well. They will need clearance from a doctor to have them lifted.
Evan Dunham was given a 60-day suspension, while Lance Benoist, Igor Pokrajac and Joseph Benavidez were given 30-day suspensions.
The rest of the fight card was handed 14-day “rest” suspensions.
