Travis Browne will step inside the Octagon Friday night against Antonio Silva in one of the biggest fights of his career.

Browne and Silva comprise the main event for UFC on FX 5, which goes down inside the Target Center in Minneapolis.

For Browne (13-0-1), this fight serves as another opportunity to further his stock in the ultra-competitive heavyweight division.

Fighting ‘Bigfoot’ on FX – in the main event – is a great opportunity. The heavyweight division is more stacked than ever. It is so hard to get into the Top-5 right now, and everyone is looking so impressive; you have to be consistently impressive.

Browne’s lone non-victory was a draw with Cheick Kongo. He has stopped Chad Griggs and Stefan Struve since the Kongo bout.
