Wanderlei Silva might just be the Energizer Bunny in disguise.

Silva, who it seems has been around MMA for as long as any of us can remember, recently told Sherdog.com that he plans to compete in 2013 – and might even be returning to the light heavyweight division.

I want to either fight a catch-weight bout at 198 pounds or at light heavyweight. At middleweight, I’m very hungry. Right now, I’m doing weight training and some shadow boxing. I’m kind of on vacation now, paying attention to the family, but next year the ‘Wand’ is back.

Silva is coming off a close decision loss to Rich Franklin earlier this year. He has mentioned wanting bouts with the likes of Chael Sonnen and Vitor Belfort, adding, “anyone they offer is good for me. I’ll face whomever the UFC wants.”

“The Axe Murderer” has won just three of his last 10 fights overall, dropping his career record to 34-12-1.
