Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is taking on the roll of fight-announcer, sending out a message via Twitter that he has agreed to face Glover Teixeira at UFC on Fox 6 in January.

Jackson (32-10) and Teixeira (19-2) were originally planned for Brazil this past October, but an injury to “Rampage” took him out of the fight. Teixeira went on to defeat Fabio Maldonado instead, and made it known he was interested in rescheduling the Jackson bout if a focused “Rampage” was preparing for him.

Jackson is coming off two straight losses and will have fulfilled his UFC contract with the Teixeira fight. He has made it known that free agency is in his future.
