Chael Sonnen and former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson engaged in a brief war-of-words recently.

Sonnen, who is currently filming The Ultimate Fighter in preparation for the 2013 title fight with Jon Jones at 205 pounds, made another call-out of Jackson via TMZ recently.

Using Strikeforce women’s champion Ronda Rousey as the catalyst, Sonnen let it be known that he was happy with reports of Rousey’s signing a UFC contract, but made sure Jackson was aware he could not defeat “Rowdy” inside the Octagon.

Looks like Mitt Romney has a new favorite fighter and ‘Rampage’ Jackson has another opponent he can’t beat.

Obviously, Rousey and Jackson are not going to be facing off anytime soon in real-life, but that will never stop Sonnen from making a comment.

Jackson, meanwhile, is set to face Glover Teixeira in January at UFC on Fox 6 in a bout that will fulfill his UFC contract.
