Frankie Edgar has his sights set on becoming a UFC champion once again.

This time, Edgar will have to defeat Jose Aldo, as “The Answer” will face the UFC featherweight champion at UFC 156 in February.

Edgar earned his first UFC title – at lightweight – be defeating legendary fighter BJ Penn. He successfully defended the belt against Penn, and fought back the challenge of Gray Maynard, as well, before falling to Benson Henderson.

“He’s definitely a tall task in an opponent, but I just think fighting guys at the caliber fights I’ve had throughout the years only got me better and I think Jose will do that, as well,” said Edgar, during a recent interview with MMA Fight Corner.

Edgar decided to finally take the advice of others and move to featherweight from lightweight following a decision loss to Henderson. The New Jersey-native was attempting to win back his title.
