Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will face Mike Hayes at Fight Nights: Battle of Moscow 9 from Russia. The card goes down December 16.

Arlovski and Haes will serve as the main event, marking the first time since 2000 that Arlovski has fought in the country.

Arlovski (18-9) will be making his third appearance inside a cage in four months, as he stopped Devin Cole earlier this month. “The Pitbull” also had a no-contest with Tim Sylvia back in August.

Hayes sports a record of 18-5-1.

Arlovski has been pushing for a return to the UFC, as he last fought inside the Octagon in 2008.
