The UFC’s return to Japan in March appears to have one fight nearly locked down, as heavyweights Stefan Struve and Mark Hunt have verbally agreed to meet.

The bout was first reported by MMAWeekly.com for UFC on Fuel TV 8 from Saitama, Japan on March 3. The card will air March 2 in North America.

Struve (25-5) has picked up four consecutive victories since a loss to Travis Browne. Struve has finished all four opponents, scoring TKO victories over Dave Herman and Stipe Miocic, while submitting Pat Barry and Lavar Johnson.

Hunt (8-7) has turned his career around, defeating Cheick Kongo to find himself on a three-fight winning streak. Hunt has previously lost six consecutive fights.
