A welterweight rematch between Carlos Condit and Rory MacDonald is a go, according to UFC president Dana White.

White confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that the plan is for Condit-MacDonald II to take place this March from Montreal’s Bell Centre at UFC 158.

MacDonald (14-1) demanded Condit accept a rematch following his recent win over BJ Penn. Condit defeated MacDonald back in 2010 via TKO with seven seconds left in the third round.

Condit (28-6) is coming off a loss to Georges St-Pierre last month. The two battled to determine a unified UFC welterweight champion after “The Natural Born Killer” won the belt on an interim basis earlier this year over Nick Diaz.

UFC 158 has yet to be officially announced by the promotion, though it is expected to take place in Canada.
