Paula Sack, the UFC’s main reporter for Brazil, informed members of the media that former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos did not suffer a broken jaw following his five-round war with Cain Velasquez Saturday night at UFC 155.

UFC president Dana White remarked that he heard dos Santos had suffered the injury during the second round of their fight, but continued to battle on and push forward.

Dos Santos was not at the post-fight press conference, as he was escorted to the hospital for further examination following the fight.
