Kimbo Slice, who went 1-1 in his UFC career before being released, will return to the boxing ring January 30 to face Shane Gilyard.

The contest will be part of the undercard for an event in Sydney, Australia at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

“Tilyard thinks he’s been in the right with tough guys but he’s never been in there with a monster like me,” Slice said. “He better be ready because I’m coming to knock his head off and show the fans of Australia who the real KO King is.”

Tilyard is the QLD heavyweight boxing champion, sporting a 6-6 overall mark.

Slice has won all six of his boxing matches after going 4-2 in MMA. He defeated Houston Alexander inside the Octagon, losing to Matt Mitrione.

The event will be available for viewing on Main Event’s website.
