Bellator MMA will head to Utah on February 21 for Bellator 90 from the Maverik Center.

The card will feature the conclusion to the season seven featherweight tournament, as Rad Martinez takes on Shahbulat Shamhalaev.

Also, former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal returns to action, battling Emmanuel Newton in the 205-pound semifinals.

The main card will air live on Spike TV.

Martinez, a native of Utah, is more than excited to be competing in front of his family and friends.

“To have the opportunity to fight in Salt Lake City for the Bellator Featherweight Tournament Championship is just a dream come true,” Martinez said. “Utah has a great base of MMA fans, but we’ve never had a big MMA promotion come to Salt Lake City, so it’s a great honor to be headlining Utah’s first large scale MMA event.”

As for Lawal, he plans to “smash this dude. The belt is what I’m here for, and it doesn’t matter who is in my way to get there.”
