UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson made sure to stick to his roots when picking a winner for tonight’s UFC 156 main event between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar.

Aldo, the UFC featherweight champion, is a former WEC standout like Henderson. Edgar, meanwhile, lost twice to “Smooth” in 2012.

Henderson offered up his prediction via Twitter earlier this week:

Henderson, who will face Gilbert Melendez later this year, could be seeing a future opponent in action on Saturday. Aldo has mentioned he might be moving up in weight classes if he can defeat Edgar, as his body continues to grow and forces him to cut too much weight for featherweight.
