Zoila Gurgel will take her talents to Invicta Fighting Championships, as the Bellator strawweight champion has signed with the all-female promotion.

Gurgel (12-2) will make her debut in April, though no opponent has been announced.

“Zoila has turned in a number of thrilling performances while rising through the ranks of fighters over the last few years,” Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp said. “We are confident that she will help raise the bar of competition even further in the Invicta FC cage.”

Gurgel returned to action this past October, Casey Noland. She was defeated by Jessica Eye in December.
