UFC on Fuel TV 7 goes down tomorrow in London England. Just as in all events, some fights out-shine the others. The co-main and main events, not surprisingly, really pull this card together. The UFC interim championship is on the line, and Michael McDonald looks to take the strap away from current interim champ Renan Barao. The co-main event also looks to get the action going, as Dustin Poirier and Cub Swanson look to set the UFC featherweight division on fire.

While these are both great fights, the co-main event will outshine the main event on this one. Cub Swanson (23-5) and Dustin Poirier (13-2) are two animals. Both of these guys are finishers. While in The UFC, Swanson has won 3 of his 4 fights all by KO/TKO, and he’s not just beating up chumps. Charles Oliveira and Ross Pearson were his last two victims. On the other side of the cage, we’ve got Dustin Poirier who is truly a submission wizard. He’s added 6 fights to his UFC resume, and he’s won 5 and finished 3 by way of submission.

Of the fights we’ve seen out of these two guys, I think we’ll have absolutely no problem getting a great fight here. Swanson currently holds two knock-out-of the-night awards in The UFC, and his opponent Poirier has a submission-of-the-night award, a fight-of-the-night , and he holds fight of the year for 2012. These guys are true decorated UFC veterans, and they will throw down hard on Saturday. We should expect to see nothing short of an awe-inspiring performance out of them.

UFC on Fuel TV 7 airs at 3pm in the east, and 12pm in the west. It’s only on Fuel TV and will be coming from across the pond in London England.
