Kaitlin Young is a veteran of female MMA, having been in the sport since 2007.

Young, who will face Amanda Nunes in April at Invicta FC 5, recently talked with Fightline.com about tonight’s UFC 157 main event between Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche.

In fact, Young (7-7-1) has been inside the cage with Carmouche, battling with her and both Miesha Tate and Gina Carano during her career.

I am so happy about it. I love Invicta, and I love fighting there, but just the opportunity (to compete in the UFC), and to be headlining……I have no doubt that both are going to have a great showing.

With her previous cage experience against Carmouche, how does Young believe the underdog will fare against Rousey?

She never fights scared. She will go in there with an attitude like ‘FU’. Sometimes, and I’m not trying to bash anybody who has fought Ronda, but they seem so afraid of getting taken down that they don’t use their tools. I don’t think (Carmouche) will be shy or rush in.
