If you listen to UFC president Dana White, Nick Diaz is back on his back side.
But, according to Cesar Gracie, the coach and manager for Diaz, his fighter is all set to still compete next month against Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight title at UFC 158.
Recently, White stated that Diaz has missed a number of planned interviews for “UFC Primetime,” costing the company money and making it impossible to put a show together.
White said the thought of pulling Diaz from the fight has crossed his mind, much like it did previously when the former Strikeforce champion was removed for failing to show for scheduled press events.
Gracie, however, took to Twitter earlier on Sunday and tried to put out the fires.
Reports of @nickdiaz209 being pulled from the GSP fight are greatly exaggerated.

Hopefully, Diaz will get back on track and remain in the title match, as this is one I’ve wanted to see for quite some time. He has the skills to compete with GSP, and could really give him a test in Montreal.
