Travis Browne was disappointed in late 2012 when he was defeated by Antonio Silva, suffering a torn hamstring in the process.

Now, fully recovered, Browne is set to return in April at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale against Gabriel Gonzaga.

“I feel 100-percent,” said Browne, during an interview with FUEL TV recently. “I’m back to where I need to be physically and even further mentally.”

The loss to Silva, the first of his career, hit “Hapa” hard.

“I had to come to terms on that loss,” he said. “It’s a loss, no excuses. I’m not going to make any excuses for future fights, as well. I’m ready to get back in there.”

Silva has since went on to defeat Alistair Overeem and earn a title fight with Cain Velasquez.

The 30-year-old Browne is 13-1-1 in his career, including a 4-1-1 mark with the UFC. Gonzaga (14-6) returned to the promotion early last year and has defeated Ednaldo Oliveira and Ben Rothwell via submission since.
